This is a very interesting and rare miniature silver table.
The table top is crafted from a 1900 Trade Dollar produced by the Bombay Mint.
Trade Dollars were produced to facilitate trade with the Far East, particularly
China. The trade dollar was made from 90% silver, weighing 26.95 g.
The lower section of the table is a Queen Victoria Straits Settlements, now
Malaysia 1896 20 Cents Coin. This coin is 80% silver and weighs 5.43 g.
The table is 47 mm tall and 39 mm in diameter at the top, and weighs 37 g in
total.
A very rare and interesting piece.
Excellent antique condition, with some stubborn tarnish and polish residue
inside the table.
The wooden shield measures 230 mm x 160 mm.
