Antique German Tin-Plate Miniature Sewing Machine - 19th Century Child's Craft Item
A 19th century German tin-plate miniature sewing machine, given to children as a creative toy, to educate them in basic skills. It has the remants of 'Made in Germany' on the base.  This is an ornate version, not the one which is normally seen with holes in the base to fix to a service - as you can see this has a a nice decorated cut out base. I cannot see any makers mark or number on this piece. 
Measurements: sits just under 7inches high to the top of the spool, the base is 6 x 3.75inches wide.
Condition: overall fair - has wear to the surface metal through usage/age, note this has not been cleaned etc. there are remanents of a needle, the wheel moves freely - the condition is clearly seen in the photos provided.
Weight without packaging: 443g - this will be packaged in a small sized parcel.

All UK posting is sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (included in P & P quoted), for tracking purposes only. Further postal options are available (e.g. Special Delivery, ParcelForce) and I am happy to meet your specific requirements upon request.
Your parcel will fall into one of three categories dependant on measurement of the parcel and weight:
Small Parcel: not exceeding length 45cm, width 35cm and depth 16cm. 
Medium Parcel: not exceeding length 61cm, width 46cm, depth 46cm. 
Large Parcel: not exceeding 2.5m length and 5m length and girth combined, the weight restriction in this category is 30kg and service provided by Parcelforce Worldwide.
For rolled and cylinder shaped parcels: the length of the item plus twice the diameter must not exceed 104cm, with the greatest dimension being no more than 90cm. 
Overseas Postage
Overseas shipping is via Airmail International Tracked & Signed or International Tracked whichever is applicable to your shipping country and this cost is included in the P & P fee quoted.
